The Crumblin Baker needed a brand with as much personality as the goods coming out of the kitchen. The goal was to build an identity that felt warm, handcrafted, and full of character — the kind of brand that makes you hungry before you've read the menu. Approachable but considered. Local but elevated. A brand that earns loyal customers the moment they encounter it.

The identity gave The Crumblin Baker a visual world entirely its own — immediately recognizable, deeply charming, and built to live across every touchpoint from packaging to social media. The brand system created the kind of personality-driven presence that turns a local bakery into a community staple people talk about and return to.
Project Overview & Development
We built the identity around a rich illustration suite — a custom baker character, hand-drawn iconography, and layered pattern work that brings the brand to life with genuine warmth and craft. The logo suite was developed to flex across signage, packaging, and digital without losing its character. Typography and colour were chosen to reinforce the artisanal, heritage quality of the baking — rich tones, considered hierarchy, and a system that feels as good on a paper bag as it does on an Instagram post.
